Senior Youth Sunday school is held in the youth director's office.

Children's Sunday School

Our children, age three through fifth grade take part in a wonderful program started in 1999 called the Rotation Workshop Model. There are five seperate rooms in our education building dedicated to this program: Movie Room, Story Telling Room, Craft Room, Drama Room and Computer Room. The children are separated into age groupings and move through one room each Sunday until they have studied the same Bible story in all five mediums. The kids love it and after five weeks they really have learned about the Bible story they have studied.

Youth Ministries (Jr./Sr. High)

Weekly Youth Groups

The Youth group meets each Sunday 12:30-2:00. Their meetings consist of fellowship, fun, food, study and service projects.

Weekend Retreats

Our youth participate in Spring and Fall "Youthquakes" in Prairie Valley, Texas. These re-treats offer fun, fellowship and learning in a nice quiet environment. The youth in senior high participate in Senior high youth connection "SHYC" at Austin College each January, this gives our youth the chance to fellowship with other kids from all across our Presbytery. Church lock-ins, occur a couple of times a year and we also participate in exciting Presbytery wide events sponsored by the Presbytery Youth Council.

Service Projects

Our youth serve as acolytes, liturgists, and ushers in our Sunday Worship and take on special service projects like helping in local soup kitchens, making sandwiches for Habitat for Humanity and painting for Brighter Tomorrows. Some of our youth even share their special musical talents from time to time during Sunday Worship.

Mission Trips

Our youth have had a yearly week long mission trip over the past several years and are presently raising money to support one this summer. Project and dates are to be determined.
